Riley Keough confirms mother Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson really ‘love each other’

Riley Keough is defending her mother, Lisa Marie Presley,’s relationship with Michael Jackson.

Sit down with Alex Cooper as part of the host Call her dad podcast, Keough shared that her mother and the King of Pop truly fell in love during their short time together.

“One thing I know is that they love each other and the love they have for each other is sincere. Because I was there and I remember. Everything else I don’t know because I wasn’t there,” she said.

The actress shared how her life changed after Jackson and Presley got married, saying they had access to more luxuries than before.

“Our lives aren’t crazier because that already exists. But I think when [Presley] Seeing Michael’s life, there are things he has that she doesn’t have. Like, at that time she didn’t have planes, things like that… And so our lives in that way became bigger. Elsewhere in the interview, Keough opened up about the alleged sexual abuse allegations against Jackson.

“I was never told anything. It’s not even something I ever asked about growing up,” she shared.

When pressed by Cooper about why she never questioned the allegations despite being so close to the singer, Keough replied that she simply didn’t know why she never did. .

Presley and Jackson have been married for two years. Their marriage lasted from 1994 to 1996. In 2003, Jackson was arrested by police for child molestation.

According to NPR, Jackson’s representative, Mark Geragos, said that the allegations against his client were “a big lie.” Jackson paid bail and surrendered his passport to become a free man again, but he was eventually indicted on 10 counts related to child molestation, kidnapping, false imprisonment and blackmail.

Two years later, in 2005, he went to trial and was eventually acquitted of all charges against him. Four years later, in 2009, Jackson died at his home. Despite his death, the allegations continue in the documentary Leave Neverland. However, Jackson’s estate will sue HBO over the documentary.

However, Jackson remains one of the biggest artists of all time with estimated sales of over 500 million records worldwide.
