He left Barclays in 1987 to join Kleinwort Benson, where he served as Director and Co-Head of Financial Markets. In 1994, Jenkins returned to Barclays and established a group advising companies on tax and regulatory management.
One of Jenkins’ notable achievements was his role in developing the Structured Capital Markets (SCM) department at Barclays.
He became an expert in analyzing and building tax regimes of many different countries, contributing to the success of the department.
