Early life and education
Rubika Liyaquat was born on April 18, 1983 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. She belongs to a Muslim family.
She completed her schooling from St. Gregorios Higher Secondary School in Udaipur. She then completed her BA in Mass Communication (Journalism) from the University of Mumbai. She currently resides in Delhi, India.

During her post-graduate studies in 2003, Rubika Liyaquat started working as a presenter for Channel 24. She spent three months there working. After graduating in 2007, she started working for Live India. She spent a year working there.
Rubika Liyaquat started working for News 24 in 2008 as a senior anchor and reporter. She later became a part of Zee News where she hosted the TV show Taal Thok Ke. She rose to fame while working for Zee News for exposing the truth about the Jindal family.
Rubika Liyaquat has been working for ABP News since August 2018. She then started hosting the primetime show Master Stroke. She was part of the team of journalists who interviewed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in April 2019.
