early life
Ryan Omo, the creator of Belema’s hit song, was born in southwestern Nigeria on March 15, 1998. His ancestry is a blend of Igbo and Yoruba.
Ryan Omo grew up in both the East and the West. He is currently studying Electrical Engineering at the prestigious University of Benin in Edo State, Nigeria.

Nigerian innovative artist Ryan officially entered the music industry in mid-2016. But things did not go smoothly as he was constantly working on perfecting his skills and trying to carve out a niche in his field of expertise.
In 2017, in order to let the world know who Ryan Omo is, he released a hit single “Gimme Love” which won him the SSMA Award for Best New Single.
Ryan Omo did not give up and continued to release different singles and used online media and websites to connect with his audience. While still struggling to achieve his goals, he formed the band Razz City; a musically inclined band whose purpose was to help each other grow in the art of music.
In early 2020, Ryan Omo signed with one of the well-known record labels in Nigeria, Dr Dolor Entertainment, which owns the likes of Hotkid Fire, Teni Apata, Afin Osha, Nikita (real name Nicole Uju Eneh) and the label’s founder, Dr Dolor.
