Ryan Tubridy, a famous Irish television and radio presenter, was born in Booterstown, a suburb of Dublin, Ireland, on May 28, 1973. His parents, Patrick Tubridy and Catherine Tubridy, played an important role in his upbringing.

Tubridy began his radio career at the age of 12 when he began reviewing books on RTÉ 2fm’s “Poporama”. After completing his Greek and Roman History and Civilisation degree, he joined RTÉ as a runner and later became part of the team on “The Gerry Ryan Show”. Tubridy also gained experience as a reporter for “Today with Pat Kenny”.
Starting his career in 1999, he first rose to fame on RTÉ Radio 1 with his show ‘Morning Glory’. This success led to him hosting ‘The Sunday Show’ and then ‘The Full Irish’ on RTÉ 2fm.
