Samantha Ruth Prabhu was born on April 28, 1987 in Alleppey, Kerala to a Telugu father, Joseph Prabhu, and a Malayali mother, Ninet Prabhu. She is the youngest child in the family and grew up in Pallavaram, Tamil Nadu, with two elder brothers: Jonathan Prabhu and David Prabhu.
