Sammie Okposo (born May 30, 1971), CEO of Zamar Entertainment, is a renowned music producer, singer, songwriter, songwriter and entertainment consultant.
He entered the Nigerian film industry in 1995 as a film soundtrack producer before moving into music production. He is credited for helping some of the biggest stars in Nigerian music create hits.
A notable performer in sold-out shows in Africa, Europe, Americas, Nigeria and most importantly The Experience with Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House on The Rock Church, Sammie Okposo is a United Nations Youth Ambassador for World Peace.
Sammie Okposo not only revolutionized but completely changed the perception of gospel music in his native Nigeria by breaking all barriers to become the first gospel musician to sell millions of copies of his music and the first gospel musician to be played everywhere (including nightclubs). As a result, he is highly regarded as a performer and entertainer.
Sammie Okposo’s music has not only earned him a huge fan base and positive reviews but has also won him several awards for his songs Unconditional Love, Addicted and No Drama.
In November 2022, it was reported that he had collapsed and died at the age of 51. The actual cause of his death was not made public.

Early life and education
Sammie Okposo was born in Delta State, Nigeria on May 30, 1971. His father encouraged him to pursue a career in accounting at a young age. He is a native of Delta State, Nigeria.
However, his passion for music began at the age of 9, when he started playing the piano and experienced the excitement of performing his duties.
Sammie Okposo was a church pianist when he was ten years old. He is believed to be related to Mr. and Mrs. Adefarasin, senior pastors of House of the Rock Worldwide.

Sammie Okposo is the CEO of Zamar Entertainment, a gospel singer, music producer, songwriter and entertainment strategist. His production career officially began in 1992 when he entered the Nigerian film industry as a film music producer before moving into music production.
He completely took the music industry by storm in 2000 when he released his debut album Unconditional Love, which featured the hit song Welu-Welu, catapulting him beyond his domestic fame and onto the world stage.
