early life
Saoirse Oona Ronan was born on April 12, 1994 in the Bronx, New York City, USA.
She was raised in a Catholic family and holds dual American and Irish citizenship.
Her parents are Irish, Paul Ronan and Monica Ronan (née Brennan), both from Dublin.
Her father, Paul Ronan, was a builder and barman before training as an actor in New York.
