Scott Raymond Adams was born on June 8, 1957 in Windham, New York, to Paul Adams and Virginia Adams.

Scott Adams has had two marriages in his life. He married S. Miles in 2006, but they later divorced in 2014. In 2020, he married Kristina Basham, a model and baker.
However, they separated in 2022. Adams became stepfather to Miles’ two children, Savannah and Justin, although tragically, Justin passed away in 2018 from a fentanyl overdose.
