early life
Season Hubley was born and raised in New York City on March 14, 1951, along with her siblings, by her loving parents.
Like most families in the early 1970s, Season Hubley came from a middle-class family. Although the family’s income sources fluctuated from time to time, her parents managed to provide for her and her siblings efficiently.
Her late father, Grant Shelby Hubley, was a professional writer and moonlighting financial broker at the height of his career.
The actress said her mother, Julia Kaul Paine, was able to cope with her father’s financial situation and became a good homemaker. However, after her father’s death, her mother decided to remarry.
Season Hubley had to adjust to life with a stepfather. At 14, she rebelled against her family and decided to start her own life.
