Sebastian Maniscalco (born July 8, 1973) is an American professional comedian and entertainer who has performed five widely praised comedy specials.

Early life
Sebastian was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois on July 8, 1973. His parents were Italian immigrants.
His father was Salvatore Maniscalco, a hair stylist. While his mother, Rose Maniscalco, worked as a secretary.
He was raised a Roman Catholic and became an altar boy at the age of eight.
Education
He attended Northern Illinois State University for his higher education. He graduated in 1995 with a degree in Communication Studies.
While in college, he served as president of the Sigma Pi student body.
Career
After graduating, Sebastian moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and began performing in bars and bowling alleys. During this time, he worked as a waiter at the Four Seasons Hotel. He worked there for seven years (1998-2005).
His career really took off in 2005 when he began performing regularly at The Comedy Store in California.
Over the past decade and a half, Sebastian has spent the past half hour on Comedy Central Presents and five five-hour specials.
In June 2009, he released his first special album titled Sebastian Live.
Since then, he has appeared on several comedy shows such as: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Jay Leno Show, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
In 2016, he appeared on the seventh season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

In 2018, he debuted in the film Green Book.
In 2019, he played Joe Gallo in the film The Irishman.
His memoir was released in February 2018 under the title Stay Hungry.
In 2019, he was honored to host the MTV Video Music Awards.
Personal life
Sebastian married Lana Gomez in 2013. They have two children together. Their first child, a daughter, was born in May 2017. Her name is Serafina. Lana gave birth to their son, Caruso, in June 2017.
