Sello Maake ka-Ncube (born 12 March 1960) is a South African actor, a veteran in the field and one of South Africa’s most celebrated actors.
The actor has been around for quite some time now and is known for his ability to bring life to his characters and make them seem very real.
He is best remembered for his role as Mr Daniel Nyati in the famous soap opera Scandal.

early life
Sello Maake Ka-Ncube was born in Orlando East, Soweto, South Africa.
He later moved to Atteridgeville, Pretoria, where he grew up.
He decided to change his name to Sello Maake Ka Ncube in honour of the man who raised him, his late stepfather.
His love for watching movies gradually turned into a passion and led him to a successful career later in life.

In his native South Africa, Sero Mark Ka-Ncube is best known for his roles as Archie Moroka on the long-running soap opera Generations, and as villain Lucas “Daniel” Nyathi on the ETV soap opera Scandal!
He also played the gorgeous Kgosietsile in the Mzansi Magic telenovela The Queen and a corrupt politician in Mzansi Magic’s Rockville.
Sello Maake Ka-Ncube founded a foundation that aims to create social cohesion through the performing arts of various groups. The foundation is primarily focused on creating a better society through various donation channels.
In 2008, Sello Maake Ka-Ncube narrated a natural history documentary, Outsiders in Africa, about wildlife with abnormal pigmentation (albinos), which was broadcast on the Animal Planet channel.

Personal life
Selo Makai Ka-Ncube was married to Palesa Mboweni in 2013, but they divorced eight months after their marriage. It seems that his ex-wife was unbearable to him.
She allegedly burned his two cars, gave away all his clothes and locked him out of the house. When he served her with divorce papers, he had already decided their marriage was irreparable. However, his wife at the time, Palesa Mboweni, was unwilling to let go.
Sello Maake Ka-Ncube had six children. Unfortunately, he lost his eldest son in an accident at the age of 29. The other five are named Neo Tsagae Maake Ka-Ncube, Lindo Maake Ka-Ncube, Lerato Maake Ka-Ncube, Onkgopotse Maake Ka-Ncube and Akhona Maake Ka-Ncube.
The tragic incident occurred in April 2011 when the car driven by his son lost control while approaching the Xavier Street exit ramp on South Africa’s M1 motorway and crashed into two electricity poles, resulting in the sudden death of Mxolisi Maake Ka-Cube.
