Early life
Seyi Hunter was born in Surulere, Lagos. She grew up in a polygamous family and has many siblings. Her father is an Igbo man – from Eastern Nigeria while her mother is from Akwa Ibom state.
Seyi is very friendly and learned to speak Yoruba as a child. Her childhood was difficult as she lost her father at a very young age.
Her mother was also a housewife and her family was struggling at the time. Seyi also lost her half-sister when she was only 15 years old.
Education
Seyi Hunter completed his primary and secondary school education in Surulere before proceeding to Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State.
There, she studied Performing Arts, Industrial and Labour Relations. She also took a photography course in 2014.
Career
The aspiring actress started her acting career in 2011 after meeting Funsho Adeola at a movie shooting location. Her first role was in the movie Aromodomo which was shot in Ibadan.
She went on to star in other films such as Broken Fixtures, My Club, Insanity, Pain, Alenibare and Rukayat alongside other actors such as Tonto Dikeh, Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Aimakun and Collins Onwochei.
She currently owns a company called Hunter’s Media that specializes in film production, documentaries, equipment rental, modeling, and photography.
She is also the CEO of the company that organizes the Miss Bikini Nigeria beauty pageant.
Personal life
Seyi Hunter likes to stay indoors on her “off” days. She is a book lover and also enjoys watching movies.
She enjoys spending time with children and occasionally organizes children’s parties using her own resources and initiative.
Seyi Hunter is very outspoken and has been vocal about her refusal to take on roles that involve sexual content in films.
She has also recently made public her plans to start a career in the porn industry.
