Early life
Seyi ‘Shigh Lofe’ Awonuga was born on 7 March 1997 into the Awonuga family.
She is a Yoruba woman from one of the southwestern states.
She grew up in the mainland of Lagos. As a young girl, Seyi ‘Shigh Lofe’ Awonuga developed a passion for music, especially Hip-hop and Rap. Although she was not a good singer, she was interested in the business side of music.
Since her high school days, she started working as an A&R agent, scouting musical talent in her neighborhood and connecting them with record producers to create great songs. She continued to do this even when she went to college.
