In Persona 3: Reloaded, there is a special battle called “Shadow of the Abyss”. The story takes place on August 14, when the protagonist (also known as “The Protagonist”) becomes involved in a confrontation between Goa and a strange shadowy creature that looks like Abaddon from Demon Arcana.

This fight can be tough, especially on Hard or Unforgiving difficulty. The tricky part is that Shadow of the Abyss doesn’t have any specific weaknesses that can be exploited. It’s resistant to almost anything you throw at it.
But don’t worry too much about preparing different characters for this battle, as that’s part of the story. However, if you’re playing on a higher difficulty, it’s a good idea to fuse a character who can heal, as you’ll need at least three turns.
The good news is that after surviving three rounds, Takaya will appear and use powerful attacks to eliminate the Shadow of the Abyss and end the battle. So hang in there and stay alive until Takatani shows up to save the world!

There are new things to do besides fighting shadows. You can chat with your roommates, cook, garden, watch movies and read books. Performing these activities helps improve your character’s stats, which unlocks new interactions with other characters.
In school, the questions teachers ask are all new. The camera is now behind your character, giving you a better view as you explore the world. You can also quickly travel easily, moving between locations with just a few clicks. Inside the dungeons of Tartarus, things are different too. There’s more to explore, and you can break objects to find hidden items. You won’t get tired anymore, which makes fighting easier.
Speaking of combat, they’ve also been updated. You can control your party members directly or let the computer determine their actions. The combat interface is similar to Persona 5, with different commands such as “Persona” and “Attack.” You can also give your turn to another party member to continue the attack. When an enemy is down, you can launch a “full attack” to deal massive damage.
After the battle, you can still choose cards to get new characters or rewards, but now you can choose the cards you want instead of random ones. Overall, Persona 3 Reloaded takes everything that was great about the original game and makes it even better with updated graphics, smoother gameplay, and new features.
