Pow Xun Ping (born 4 October 1990), better known as Shane Pow, is a famous Singaporean actor and television personality.
He is one of eight celebrities who have been dubbed the Duke of Mount Caldecott by the media for their popularity and outstanding reputation among their peers and the public.
Shane Pow started his acting career in 2012 and has appeared in many popular Singaporean TV series and films. He is best known for his role as B-Niu in the Channel 8 hit series Walking With Two and has received numerous accolades for his outstanding performances in film and television.

Early life and education
Shane Pow, also known as Shane Pow, was born in Singapore on 4 October 1990. He has an older sister and a younger brother. He was educated at Woodlands Ring Secondary School and Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Although he was born and raised in Singapore, he is of Chinese descent. His father’s identity is relatively unknown, but Shane Pow has shared some photos of his father on Instagram.
Shane Pow is an avid athlete who represented the Singapore National Youth Basketball Team in international competitions, but was forced to stop playing due to an unexpected injury.

Shane Pow worked as a part-time sports presenter for SPH RazorTV’s Livewire show when he was 19. A modeling agency spotted his talent and he began participating in photo shoots, such as the “Get Your Sexy Back” campaign, to promote moderate drinking.
In 2011, Shane Pow signed up for the Singapore Manhunt competition. He was managed by Beam Artistes, who were also the producers of the 2011 Singapore Manhunt. After Manhunt, he had guest roles in several local dramas. After completing his National Service requirement in 2012, he signed on as an illustrator with MediaCorp. His breakthrough performance was in the local drama It Takes Two, which premiered in 2012.
Shane Pow made his debut in the hosting world in 2014, hosting Cheap and Good and Style Check-in 4. He has also starred in films such as Serve HOT, Against the Tide and Three Wishes, which won him the Top Ten Most Popular Male Artist Award at the Star Awards in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
In 2015, he filmed Family on the Edge and The Journey: Our Home. He has also appeared in Fortune House, Beyond Words, Peace and Prosperity, and two YouTube Original series, Soul Reaper and I Want to Be a Star, all released in 2016.
He acted in the 2017 film Line of Duty, for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the Star Awards 2018. Shane Pow’s contract with Beam Artistes ended on December 12, 2017, when he signed a management agreement with Mediacorp.
