Blackpink member Rosé is eagerly promoting her upcoming album. Rosie. To celebrate the release, she did a series of interviews and the latest one showcased her friendship with Taylor Swift.

“I told her I was a huge fan and I just had a few questions. As soon as she met me, she said ‘Let me help you.’ She gave me her experience and was willing to help me. She gave me her phone number and said, ‘Let me know if you have any questions.’ Who does that? Like, you’re Taylor Swift!”
Rosé continued to praise Swift, sharing how the singer tried to protect her when she entered the music business alone.
“She really is the coolest person, and she’s a girl’s girl. She told me – make sure to take care of this, this and this – like logistics. She is trying to protect me. I become solo, independent, which is not an easy thing. There are many things I have to be careful of, and she gave me a summary of all the things I pay attention,” she said.
Rosé added: “That was the coolest part – she killed it in the game and she was kind enough to guide me through it.”
Rosé’s solo career got off to a good start outside of her friendship with Swift. The singer achieved a historic milestone with “APT”, her song in collaboration with Bruno Mars. The song made Rosé the first female K-pop artist to reach No. 1 on the global Spotify chart.
“APT” is set to appear on Rosiealso has a song inspired by haters which she describes as “disgustingly vulnerable”.
