Shemar Morrow on Last Chance U: Basketball Season 2
Netflix’s Last Chance U: Basketball follows the East Los Angeles College (ELAC) basketball team. They were once a team that struggled to win any games, and it was only after the arrival of head coach John Mosley that the players showed the world exactly what they were made of.
Now, the show is in season 2 and Shemar Morrow, who never thought he would be a part of the Huskies, is still scoring wins for the team.
Basketball star, Shemar started his basketball career at La Mirada High School. However, he was soon linked to Shadow Mountain High School in Phoenix, Arizona, and it was there that he gained his well-deserved reputation for his impressive basketball skills.
Shemar was then selected to participate in the USA Men’s Junior National Basketball Team training camp in October 2016—an experience Shemar cherishes as one of his accomplishments.
Unfortunately, focusing more on the game Shemar was unable to get his high school diploma as his grades were clearly not up to par. However, he did secure a place at the College of Alameda, CA
Finally, in 2021, Shemar joined the ELAC Huskies, something he never dreamed of. But now that he has, the basketball player is determined to pave a new path and continue his passion for basketball.
His life on Last Chance U: Basketball certainly hasn’t been easy, which has left many wondering why the star hasn’t been seen playing regularly.
Also joining Shemar are Head Coach John Mosley, Coach Rob Robinson, Coach Ken Hunter, Brandon Wilson, Bryan Penn-Johnson, Demetrius “DC” Calipi II, Josh Phillips, Damani Whitlock, Dezmond Washington, Justin Gladney and DJ Gilmore.
