Early life and education
Sheree J. Wilson, now 66 years old, was born on December 12, 1958 in Rochester, Minnesota. Her father, Robert, is an IBM executive, and her mother, Helen, is a nurse.
She grew up in a well-off and cultured family, traveled to many countries and learned many different languages.
She attended Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado, as a cheerleader and homecoming queen. She then enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in fashion business and merchandising. She graduated with honors in 1981.

However, the couple divorced in 2004 citing irreconcilable differences. Sheree remained single for 14 years until she married Vince Morella, a police officer, in 2018.

Career
Sheree J. Wilson began her career as a model in New York, working for top agencies and brands such as Wilhelmina, Revlon and Clairol.
She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, landing her first role in the 1984 film Crimewave, directed by Sam Raimi.
She later appeared in several other films, including Velvet, Fraternity Vacation, News at Eleven and Hellbound. She has also guest starred on television shows such as Matlock, The Twilight Zone and Renegade.
However, her breakthrough role came in 1986, when she was cast as April Stevens Ewing, J.R. Ewing’s scheming sister-in-law, on the hit television series Dallas.
She played the role for five seasons until her character was killed in a dramatic car explosion in 1991. For her performance, she won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Death Scene .
In 1993, she reunited with Dallas co-star Chuck Norris, who offered her the role of Alex Cahill-Walker, district attorney and Cordell Walker’s love interest, in the action series Walker, Texas Ranger.
She played the role for nine seasons until the show ended in 2001. She also reprized the role in the 2005 television movie Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire.
After Walker, Texas Ranger, Sheree J. Wilson shifted her focus to producing and starring in independent films such as Easy Rider: The Ride Back, The Gundown, Dug Up and Christmas Belle.
She also appeared in stage plays such as The Odd Couple and Driving Miss Daisy. In 2017, she launched her own skin care line, Sheree Cosmetics.
