Sheena Peters’ music career began at a young age when he played with his friends under the name “Olushina and His Twelve Amazing Brothers”.
He taught himself piano while playing with his friends and later joined Ebenezer Ogbe’s band. He then left Ebenezer Ogbe’s band and joined Prince General Adekunle’s band as a guitarist.
Prince Adekunle’s band performed at hotels such as the Western Hotel, Palm Beach Hotel and Executive Hotel in Lagos. Shina Peters sometimes took over as lead singer when Prince Adekunle was ill. He left Prince Adekunle and formed the Shina Adewale band with Segun Adewale.
However, the two soon broke up.After releasing many albums with Segun Adewale in the 1980s.
Shina Peters later formed his own band, Sir Shina Peters and His International Stars.
