Silent protest behind bars or fear of poisoning?

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing potential food-related challenges while being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The disgraced music mogul reportedly suspected someone was trying to poison him, prompting him to avoid eating meals provided at the MDC, where he has been held since his arrest a week ago, according to a former inmate.

In a recent television appearance, former MDC inmate Larry Levine shared insights from a confidential source with knowledge of the situation.

“Imagine if someone paid someone to poison their food, causing them to have a heart attack and die,” Levine told NewsNation.

Diddy’s reluctance to eat is said to stem from his growing anxiety and insecurity about the possibility of becoming a target.

Levine continued, “If someone gets close to one of the correctional officers, this could happen. They don’t make a lot of money and there are people out there who own things that have a lot of money.”

“[Diddy is] really, really paranoid. He’s really, really scared. Doesn’t know what to think. He doesn’t know who to trust or what to believe.”

In terms of logistics, it was discovered that Diddy and crypto scammer Sam Bankman-Fried are currently sharing accommodation within the MDC compound.

Diddy’s holding area can hold about 18 to 20 people and is typically reserved for high-profile individuals or those who are cooperating with law enforcement.

It was reported that Diddy had religious visits and consulted with a nutritionist during his time at MDC.

In addition, he is visited by a mental health professional several times a day.

“He is still on suicide watch. A psychiatrist visits him several times a day.”

Prisoners reportedly often refuse the food provided. Levine noted that inmates held in isolation, like Diddy, often receive lower-quality meals than those in the general population.

“They feed the people in the shoes last. The food is bland, high in carbohydrates. It fills you up but makes you sick when you eat it.”

“There was mold in a lot of that food. Maybe he got sick from that food, that’s another possibility.”

Diddy is currently embroiled in a legal battle over allegations of human trafficking and sexual abuse. During his arrest on September 18, he maintained his innocence, pleading not guilty during court proceedings.

Despite repeated requests for bail, he was denied, leading to his detention at MDC.
