Simphiwe Ngema’s love life has seen both joy and sorrow. After dating for two years, she married artist and singer Dumisani ‘Dumi’ Masilela in a private ceremony in May 2017. Tragically, on 2 August 2017, Dumi lost her life in a failed plane hijacking, leaving Simphiwe devastated.
Simphiwe Ngema took time to heal and rebuild her life after this painful loss. Throughout this journey, she found comfort in the company of famous South African actor Tino Chinyani. On June 23, 2020, the Simphiwe Ngema star gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, with the baby’s father being Tino Chinyani.
