Early life
Sithelo Shozi was born on 17 April 1994 in Umkomaas, KwaZulu-Natal. After graduating from high school, she attended the Durban University of Technology. She has an older sister named Zekhethelo Shozi. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shozi.

She studied recording music at the POW Academy, located in downtown Durban.

“M was originally created as Baby Makhosini, but years later, she is not my only child. I created this as a legacy for all the children, so the ‘M’ is prominent in their entire surname. It was the ideal method to keep the ‘M’, but it does not change the name I originally started with,” she said.
