- Pillage Villages: The most reliable way to obtain Lac is to pillage villages scattered across the Indian Ocean. While you can also try to buy shellac from village merchants, there’s no guarantee they’ll have it in stock, so it’s recommended to prioritize looting to ensure a constant supply.
- Heading to Halimao Strait: Halimao Strait is located on the far east side of the map and is the best place to find Lac.
- Loot nearby villages: After entering the Harimau Strait, target nearby villages for plunder to obtain lac and other valuable resources. Villages controlled by the Rempa Dominion were particularly lucrative targets for the hunt for lac. One of the recommended lac growing villages is Kencur Lumberyard.
- Participate in Plunder: Approach a coastal village of your choice and select the Plunder option. Engage in combat to destroy the town’s watchtowers and fight off any intervening ships to secure your loot.
