Skull and Bones Wood Tar
In the game Skull and Bones, players need wood tar to craft certain items, such as spears. One way to obtain Wood Tar is to buy it from Guérande (a village south of the main starting area) for 600 silver coins. Additionally, players can track blueprints in the game, which will show the location of materials (including wood tar) on the map if they have encountered them before.

Another method is to loot the Komani base. Players may receive quests that require them to craft a long cannon, and by tracking these quests, the game will show where to find wood tar. This means that exploring and raiding these bases can yield the Wood Tar needed for crafting.
Obtaining wood tar in Skull and Bones involves purchasing it from a specific location, tracking blueprints, and completing tasks that lead the player to their location, enhancing the gameplay experience and adding depth to the crafting mechanics.

You can play Skull and Bones by yourself or with friends. The developers made this game using an engine called Ubisoft Anvil, which makes the game look very cool and realistic.
It was also supposed to be available on Google Stadia, but that didn’t happen due to the shutdown of Google Stadia. So if you like adventure games and like pirates and naval battles, keep an eye out for the release of Skull and Bones!

Skull and Bone Development
Skull and Bones began its journey as Ubisoft Singapore’s first project in 2013, inspired by the naval battles of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It was originally conceived as an expansion to Black Flag and later as an MMO spin-off, Black Flag Infinite, but technical limitations prompted it to evolve into a standalone venture.

Development encountered significant obstacles, including environmental changes from the Caribbean to Hyperborea and finally settlement in the Indian Ocean. Gameplay has gone through several revisions, shifting the focus from sea exploration to land-based survival elements influenced by games like Rust. Budget issues and management challenges plagued the project, which cost more than $120 million.
Announced at E3 2017, Skull and Bones faced a series of delays and was originally slated for release in 2018. “New Vision” emerged in September 2020, resulting in more development time and the involvement of other Ubisoft studios such as Ubisoft Berlin. Although there were subsequent delays, including a closed beta in August 2023, the game’s release date was finally set for February 16, 2024, after a series of rescheduled release dates.
