SkyBlock Patch Notes 0.19.4

These patch notes outline various changes, additions, and fixes to game mechanics, items, classes, dungeons, pets, and more. Some of the key highlights from these patch notes include:

Underground city

Today is the day when the berserker class reaches glory. That’s right, it’s an update to the Catacombs! We’ve introduced a range of new items and class abilities to make melee rage a viable option when looting catacombs. Read more to learn about the changes!

Violent changes

  • Berserkers gain the new ability Weapon Master, effectively making every swing an “AOE”.
    • Creatures within the cone are knocked back as if they were damaged by melee attacks.
    • Each level increases the swing range by +0.06 squares, and when the rage is 50, the swing range is maximized to +3 squares. This stacks on top of any weapon with swing range.
    • Ferocity is disabled while Weapon Master is in effect.
  • The Berserker’s Bloodlust ability has been retuned to increase its effectiveness at lower levels and enhance dungeon level bonuses when used alone.
    • Let p be the amount of damage increased by each attack, and let m be the upper limit of damage increase.
    • p% = 15% + rage level* 0.6%
    • Maximum % = 250% + lower limit (rage level/5) * 70%
  • The Berserker’s Bloodthirst skill will no longer heal 1.5% of damage dealt. Instead, each melee attack restores 3% of missing health.
    • The effect of right-clicking on the Flower of Truth.
    • Hitting multiple creatures at once does not result in additional healing.
  • The Berserker gains a new passive ability, “Unyielding,” which increases its tanking capabilities at close range.
    • Gain 5% + (0.1% * class level) Strength as defense.
  • The Berserker’s Ragnarok ability now has the following additional effects on the current minion:
    • If the player’s attack speed is less than 100, set it to 100.
    • If the player’s speed is less than 200 + rage level * 4, set his speed to 200 + rage level * 4.
    • Melee damage against all creatures is increased by 1.5x.
  • The Berserker’s ax throwing ability has been enhanced as follows:
    • Allows stealth activation of throwing axes.
    • Increased the hit range of the throwing ax by 0.5 grid radius.
    • Throwing axes can now impale enemies.

Other category changes

  • Archers’ arrow damage bonus has been rescaled to not penalize stupid archers as hard.
    • Arrow damage increase % = 150% + Archer level* 1.6%
    • +50% arrow damage if dungeon level bonus is applied.
  • Healers gain a new passive ability: Overheal, allowing them to convert excess healing on the player into an absorbing shield.
    • When the player reaches maximum health, healing done by the healer is converted into an absorbing shield.
    • The maximum absorption shield depends on the player’s healer level – 20 + 0.4 per healer level.
    • If the healer is the only healer in the party, the maximum absorb shield is calculated as 40 + 0.4 per healer level. (Max 40 + 0.4*50 = 60% Overheal Absorption Shield).
    • Wish now works with Overheal – it fully heals you and gives you the maximum Absorption Heart you can get from Overheal + an additional 20%.
  • The mage staff (beam) drop range now starts at 5 instead of 10.
    • It is stated that the beam’s damage decreases starting at 15 blocks, but this is not the case.
  • The mage staff’s (beam) hit range has been increased by 0.5 tile radius.
  • Mage Staff (Beam) cooldown is now affected by attack speed.
  • The range of the mage staff (beam) in M7 P5 is doubled, making it easier for players to hit dragons with the mage beam.
