In June 2022, Ziggurat Interactive, known for series such as “BloodRayne” and “KKnD”, announced “Slave Zero X” as a prequel to the original game. It features a dystopian future setting and gameplay reminiscent of popular games like Devil May Cry and Strider. Notable new additions to the game include voice actors SungWon Cho and Anjali Kunapaneni.
Additionally, Ziggurat has teamed up with Ironwood Software and Poppy Works to release Slave Zero X: Episode Enyo, a complete conversion mod for the classic first-person shooter Quake. This expansion pack allows players to experience the world of Slave Zero X from a different perspective, with the main villain becoming a playable character.

Scenario: In the megacity S1-9 ruled by the monarch Khan, a vengeful warrior attempts to murder him. Beneath the city’s foundations, a secret organization called the Guardians aims to prevent the use of horrific living machines called “Slaves” in war.
