Sophie Francine Hilbrand (born 5 October 1975), commonly known as Sophie Hilbrand, is a Dutch television presenter, actress and radio personality.
She is best known for her debut in the Dutch film Talmen which premiered in 2002.
Sophie Hilbrand enrolled in a theatre course at De Trap, a private acting school based in Amsterdam, but dropped out after a year and a half when she was cast in the film 6pack.

Early life and education
Sophie Hilbrand was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on October 5, 1975. She is the daughter of a businessman and a secretary. Her parents are Pieter Hilbrand (father) and Madeleen Hilbrand-van Eck (mother).
She has an older sister named Claire Hilbrand and lived in Bergen until her eighth year before moving to Nuenen. She attended HAVO at Eckart College and spent a year at the fashion academy in Eindhoven.
Sophie Hilbrand then moved to Amsterdam, where she enrolled in HBO’s three-year marketing and communications course.
She acted in commercials, wrote for Story, Breakout and Ter Ziele magazine, More Magazine and attended Stap Theatre School part-time, which she left after a year and a half to debut in 6pack.
Personal life
Since the fall of 2006, Sophie Hilbrand has been in a relationship with actor Waldemar Torenstra.
In 2008, they co-starred in Zomerhitte, a film adaptation of the novel by Jan Wolkers. Sophie Hilbrand and Waldemar Torenstra have a daughter, Ravi Torenstra, and a son, Robin Torenstra.
Career
Sophie Hilbrand debuted on SBS 6 as part of the show 6pack. She then joined BNN television in 2004.
From October 2005 to December 2007, she co-hosted the show with Filemon Wesselink, Yentl Strik, and Ties Van Westing. She also co-hosted Mystery Party with Kurt Rogiers, where she lured parents out of their homes and renovated them for parties.
Meanwhile, Sophie Hilbrand appeared in a brief role in an episode of the television series Grijpstra on September 22, 2006 and the television series Vulture on September 22, 2006.
