Spencer Conley was one of 11 contestants who remained after Episode 4 ended in elimination on Season 21 of The Bachelorette Australia. Despite not getting the first impression rose or the first one-on-one date of the season, Spencer has been Jenn’s (and Bachelor Nation’s) favorite since Night 1 because of his unconventional and, frankly, adorable career.

Spencer Conley is one of four sons born to Lisa Pineiro and Brian Conley. Briana and Lisa raised Spencer and his siblings in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Lisa is an entrepreneur and social media influencer with 38.2k followers on Instagram. She is also the founder and CEO of Glotrition, a skincare business. Brian is the principal of Northwest Middle School. He is also the director of boundaries and planning for the Salt Lake City School District.
In January 2024, several parents in the Salt Lake City School District asked the school board to redo its recent school closure study amid complaints that district officials who oversaw much of the process had conflicts of interest. In a Jan. 26 email to Superintendent Elizabeth Grant and board members, parents from four schools alleged that Conley had a “clear conflict of interest.”
They mentioned that Brian’s stepchild attends another elementary school and his wife is the principal of an elementary school in the district. Closing either school was not recommended. The district decided to look at three schools, including his stepchild’s school, but ultimately decided not to.
A copy of Brian’s marriage license from the county clerk’s office was used by KUER to verify Brian’s spouse’s identity. The couple married on August 15, 2023. The girl’s parents claim to have used a public document to verify the school Conley’s stepchild attends.

In the 2021 post, Spencer also shared that he “hit an all-time low mentally but especially physically.”
“After lockdown, I found myself weighing almost 300 pounds and I had just gone through the hardest breakup of my life. I had fallen into a deep hole of really bad habits and after playing Division 1 college football, I had become someone I didn’t even recognize anymore. I knew I could let life drag me down or I could get up and fight. I decided to get up. I lost 70 pounds, ran two ultramarathons, and I made fitness a part of my life every day. Most importantly, I feel better physically and mentally than I have ever felt before.”
Spencer began his career as a social media intern at Innergy Fitness in 2012. After leaving in 2014, he joined davisRE as a commercial analyst. While at SMU, he was also a student athlete until December 2015.
Furthermore, right after graduating from college, Spencer started working at Mohr Partners, Inc. as a Corporate Strategy Consultant. He was also a Senior Fitness Trainer at ZYN22. From 2015 to 2019, Spencer served as Vice President of Marketing and Affiliate Management at Glotrition, LLC.
In addition to his day job, Spencer is also involved in volunteer work. He serves Habitat for Humanity International and 100 Men Who Give a Damn – Dallas as a member or volunteer.
Regarding his education, Spencer graduated from Judge Memorial High School and Southern Methodist University. While attending SMU, he played football, playing five games as a freshman, four games as a sophomore, two games as a junior, and three games as a senior.
