Splatoon 3 gameplay

In Splatoon 3, you play as characters named Inklings or Octolings. You can use different weapons like a paint roller or a sniper rifle to fire colored ink to cover the ground or hit your opponents. In the game, you can transform into squid or octopus form to move faster and climb ink walls.

There are three types of weapons: main weapons, secondary weapons and special weapons. The primary weapon is the weapon you choose to use, the secondary weapons are additional tools for your primary weapon, and the special weapons require you to cover the ground with ink in order to use them. You need to manage your ink levels, and swimming in the ink will help replenish it. The game has a lot of weapons, some new and some from earlier Splatoon games.

Splatoon 3 plot

In the game, players follow an old squid named Craig Cuttlefish into a dangerous place filled with furry ooze. They were recruited by Cuttlefish to join the new Squidward Jet Squad as Agent 3. They also have a pet salmon named “Buddy.” Little Buddy helps kill the ooze and clear the roads. Players fight against mutated Octarian enemies alongside Cuttlefish, who believes he has stolen the giant Zap that powers Spratsville.

The adventure takes them to an underground city called Altna, where they meet familiar faces and discover Mr. Grizz’s plot to use plush ooze to transform living beings into mammals. They teamed up with a group called Deep Cut to stop this plan, ultimately saving the world and returning to Earth with the big Zapfish. Mr. Grizzi faces the consequences of his actions.
