Splatoon 3 gameplay

In Splatoon 3, players can play as Inklings or Octolings, shooting colored ink at each other. The weapons they use are really cool and look like normal weapons you’d find at home. For example, there are large paint rollers that can cover a lot of ground, but are better suited for close combat. There are also sniper-like weapons that can shoot from far away without affecting much of the ground.

The game adds new weapons: a primary weapon of your choice, a secondary weapon that pairs with the primary weapon, and special weapons that require a lot of ink to charge. Inklings and Octolings can transform into squids or octopuses, which helps them climb ink-covered walls and swim faster through ink. As you shoot, your ink will run out, but if you dive into it like a squid or octopus, you’ll refill it faster. All old weapons from previous Splatoon games return in Splatoon 3.

Splatoon 3 plot

In the game, players join a group called the New Squidmouth Jets, which is led by an old squid named Craig Squid. They become Agent 3 and team up with a small fish named “Little Buddy”. Together they fight against mutated enemies who have stolen something important called the Great Zapfish.

A famous group called the Deep Cut believed there was treasure in the city and came into conflict with the Squidward Jet Squad. They later discover that Mr. Grizz, the head of a company, has kidnapped Cuttlefish and wants to use Zapfish to turn everything into mammals using something called the Fuzzy Ooze. After many battles and tricky situations, they team up with Deep Cut to stop Mr. Grizz’s plans.

They find Squid, but he appears to be harmed. Mr. Grizzly plans to cover the fuzzy ooze planet with rockets and turn all life into mammals. The team manages to stop Mr. Grizzly through a huge battle. Agent 3, Buddy Jr., and Octavio bring Zapfish back, while Mr. Grizzly is floating in space.
