Stay outside and practice
Stay Out of the House is a survival horror game where you need to escape from a dangerous house.
prelude:
- The game starts with you getting out of your car to look for your boyfriend. Walk through the bathroom and outside. Saw some buildings and a dog along the path. Turn right and you’ll find the entrance to a cornfield with a red truck. Go right, then left, then right, and finally left to reach the house.
- Inside the house, find a way to help a dog that’s trapped in a bear trap. It’s in the basement.
house:
- After escaping the cage, grab the lighter from the drawer. As you explore the house, search drawers and cabinets for items like bullets, paper clips, and save tapes.
- In a bedroom covered with skinned corpse rugs, there is a locked toolbox. The combination for the padlock is in a drawer in the room behind the padlock.
- There is a vent in another bedroom across the hall. Open it with a screwdriver and go inside.
- Go to the kitchen where the butcher is cutting the meat. You can stay in the bedroom or on the main hallway.
Step 1: Find the hammer:
- The hammer can be located in three places. Look in the bedroom next to the living room, in the drawers next to the front door, or in the bedroom upstairs.
Step 2: Get a drain cleaner:
- Use the hammer to open the boarded-up door in the hallway. Inside, you’ll find a revolver and a corpse. There was a boarded-up hatch in the closet. Open it and crawl through. In that room you’ll find the drain cleaner.
Step 3: Get the hex key:
- Open the door to the upstairs hallway, go to the bathroom next to the drain cleaning room, and pour drain cleaner into the sink to dislodge the items. Head to the basement and find the Hex Wrench in the black puddle on the left.
Step 4: Cut off the power:
- Sneak into the downstairs bathroom, pick the lock on the cabinet, and find the rubbing alcohol. Pour it over the kitchen string and light it with a lighter. You will get scissors. In the basement, use a screwdriver to cut the power cord.
Step Five: Unlock the Attic:
- Head to the bedroom with the first vent, turn right, and use the gear you’ve collected to unlock the hidden passage. Go upstairs and get the plank from the back of the van.
Step 6: Unlock the exterior:
- Open the attic door. You have two options: exit through the front door or enter the bunker.
Ending 1: Ignore the front door:
Step 7: Collect batteries:
- To get the front door key, find three batteries around the house. They are in the room, dining room and shed with the gutter cleaner. Use them to activate the can opener and get the key.
Enter the bunker:
- If you want to go to the bunker, ignore the shed and tape. Instead, turn the winch on the back of the shed to open the pressure valve.
- Step 8: Use the Pressure Valve:
- Use the pressure valve in the basement to shut off the hot steam. Pass it and solve the puzzle in the control room to continue. The password to enter the yellow lead door is 9751.
bunker:
You’ll enter a bunker and need to collect items to advance. You will do the following:
- B1: Find the screwdriver, use it to open the vent, and go through the vent. You will find the hex wrench and the pump room key. Use the pump room key to drain the water on B2.
- B2: Swim to clear two drains, then explore the computer room and get the note disk. Solve puzzles in the control room to repair the disk. Use it to turn off the HVAC and continue past the elevator.
Explore the rooms on the ground floor to find the keys to the self-destruct sequence: the Blue Key and the Red Key. Insert the correct code into the control room to initiate the self-destruct sequence.
Hidden Bunker Route: If you have a key and a gun, you can skip most bunkers by shooting the doors to open them. Follow the path to the control room and continue to complete the game.
