Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams (born 30 June 1978) is a South African politician and businesswoman.
She is currently the Minister of Communications and Digital Technology of the Republic of South Africa.
The public office holder is the Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services in the cabinet of Minister Cyril Ramaphosa.

Early life
Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams was born on June 30, 1978.
She is the first born of six children. She was raised in a Catholic family. Her parents were pastors.
She was born in the village of Sakhela in South Africa. She grew up in the Eastern Cape region of South Africa.
Education
Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams attended Holy Cross High School and graduated from Wits University with a degree in Policy and Regulatory Management.
She obtained an advanced certificate in project management from Rhodes University and a diploma in management systems and telecommunications.
Career
Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams is the current Minister of Communications of the Republic of South Africa, a position she created on 22 November 2018. She oversaw the merger of South Africa’s Departments of Communications, Telecommunications and Postal Services in 2019.
This merger brought about the Ministry of Communications and Digital Technology. She launched the Fourth Industrial Revolution Army Building project, a skills platform aimed at teaching skills development and capacity building for youth.
She has strongly promoted the use of technology in rural areas and villages, and ensured that many rural schools have computer labs with internet access and educational software.
She was Project Manager for the Eastern Cape Socio-Economic Advisory Council from 2003 to 2009 and has served as a member of various parliaments including

Personal life
Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams is now married to Thato Abrahams. Their marriage is blessed with Ruth’s three children.
She was at the centre of a national controversy in April 2020 when she flouted South Africa’s lockdown and visited Mduduzi Manana.
This action brought her much criticism and the current South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa, asked her to publicly apologise, which she promptly did, and gave reasons for breaking the rules. She was punished by being suspended without pay for two months and fined for her actions.
