Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams attended Holy Cross High School and graduated from Wits University with a degree in Policy and Regulatory Management.
She earned an advanced certificate in project management at Rhodes University and a diploma in telecommunications and management systems.
Career
Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams is currently the Minister of Communications of the Republic of South Africa, an office she commenced on 22 November 2018. She oversaw the unification of the South African Departments of Communications, Telecommunications and Posts into year 2019.
This unification led to the Ministry of Communications and Digital Technology. She launched the Building the Fourth Industrial Revolution Army project, a skills platform aimed at teaching skills development and capacity building for young people.
She strongly promoted the use of technology in rural areas and villages, and ensured that many schools in rural areas had computer labs with Internet connections and educational software.

This action caused massive criticism of her and the current president of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa asked her to issue a public apology which she promptly did and has reason to do. violate the rules. She was suspended without pay for two months and fined for her actions.
