Stephanie Abrams was born on October 27, 1978 to Mr. and Mrs. Barry Abrams.
She is a native of Wellington, Florida, USA. A goal-oriented woman, she started her own business at the age of 22 after graduating.
Currently co-host of TWC’s AMHQ alongside Jen Carfagno and Jim Cantore, Stephanie Abrams got her first job as a meteorologist at just 22 and her second job at just 25.
Former President and current member of the Florida chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS), Stephanie Abrams, is also a member of the National Weather Association (NWA).

While studying Meteorology at Florida State University, Stephanie Abrams and her classmates had the opportunity to practice on-air forecasting on the Florida State University student-run weather and news program on the Tallahassee cable channel, “FSU Live.” Additionally, she was one of the few students in her major to serve as a teaching assistant.
Career
Starting her career in media as a meteorologist at age 22, Stephanie Abrams has worked with many well-known media companies – her first job was at WTXL, the ABC affiliate in Tallahassee, Florida.
She has worked with many other prominent companies, including The Weather Channel, where she served as a reporter and interim editor from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, she co-hosted NBC’s Wake Up With Al with Al Roker on weekday mornings from July 20, 2009 to 2015.
From 2012 to 2013, Stephanie Abrams co-hosted The Weather Channel’s On The Radar. From 2009 to 2014, she co-hosted the weekday Morning Rush – formerly Your Weather Today. She currently co-hosts AMHQ with Jen Carfagno and Jim Cantore.
