Stephen “tWitch” Boss passed away in 2022 and now details about his death have come to light.
The boss’s wife, Allison Holker, shared that her husband was facing crippling drug addiction before his death. However, she did not discover his addiction until the former dancer passed away.
“I was with one of my really close friends and we were cleaning out his wardrobe and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral,” she said. Everybody.
“It was really a hysterical moment for me because there were so many things I discovered in my closet that I didn’t know existed. I was so alarmed to learn that there were so many things going on that I know nothing about.” [about]”, Holker continued.
She shared that the moment she discovered “abundant” drugs in the shoebox was a “terrifying” moment for her. However, she revealed that finding out “helped me understand that he had been through a lot and he had hidden a lot,” noting that her husband must have been “very embarrassed” about his actions.
That wasn’t the only shocking discovery as Holker discovered that Boss was sexually abused as a child.
“He’s struggling with a lot of things inside of him, and he’s trying to self-medicate and deal with all those emotions because he doesn’t want to blame anyone because he loves everyone so much.” people. He doesn’t want others to do that.” take his pain,” she shared.
While Holker knew that Boss would come to their guest house to drink and smoke marijuana at night, she had no idea how bad this habit had become. But Boss started smoking day and night and started showering less.
Now, she wants to be able to help others who may be going through similar situations as her husband.
“I really hope people who are facing similar problems will help themselves out of the darkness and [know] you’ll be fine,” Holker shared.
The boss committed suicide in December 2022.

Boss is best known for his work on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he worked as a DJ as well as guest co-host. Together, they share three children. Boss adopted Holker’s daughter Weslie and they then welcomed son Maddox in 2016, followed by daughter Zaia in 2019.
