Early life
Steve Burton was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Tory and Jack Burton. However, he grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and later in Beverly Hills, California. He began his acting career in the late 80s.
Career
Steve got his break when he co-starred in the TV show ‘Out of the World’ from 1987 to 1991. In 1988, he appeared on Days of Our Lives. Burton made his acting debut on the daytime soap opera General Hospital in 1991.
In 1998, he appeared in season 1 of General Hospital: Night Shift. He won his first Daytime Emmy Award. Burton continued to star in films such as Taken and Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
