Phillip Nickolas Katsabanis (born June 17, 1995), better known by his stage name Stitches, is an American rapper and songwriter. He was formerly known as Lil Phill before changing his name to Stitches.

In October 2014, Stitches was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. In February 2016, while on tour in Germany, Stitches was arrested for allegedly assaulting a fan. He was later released from custody.

Early life
Stitches was born in Miami, Florida, on June 17, 1995, to Esther Katsabanis (mother) and Alexander Katsabanis (father), who divorced when he was one year old.
Stitches, of Greek and Cuban descent, grew up in Kendall, Florida, a suburb of Miami.
After arriving in South Beach, Florida, from Miami, the rapper claims he began selling cocaine and guns to sustain himself.
He also has two older brothers, Alexander Katsabanis Jr and Dimitri Katsabanis.
Education
Since childhood, Stitches has had a hot temper. He attended Miami-Dade County’s G. Holmes Braddock High School but dropped out.
According to him, Stitches was expelled for punching the principal. The young man was arrested and has been on his own ever since.
Personal life
Stitches was married before divorcing in 2017. Erica Duarte is the rapper’s ex-wife and she works as a court assistant.
Erica Duarte is the rapper’s first wife. Stitches married his wife when she was 17 years old.
