Street Fighter 6 Update 1.11 Patch Notes
With this update, we’ve added some balance adjustments to some characters. These have been developed with the following objectives in mind. 1. Improve roles that do not realize one’s full potential. 2. Improve technology that is clearly difficult to use. 3. Weaken elements that control your opponent’s actions too tightly.

1. Improve roles that do not realize one’s full potential.
Most of these adjustments focus on Jamie and Long. Jamie is a character whose potential increases the more he drinks, but it takes a lot of work to unlock that potential, and he struggles to show off what he’s capable of. In this update, we hope to alleviate this issue by adding ways for him to increase his alcohol consumption. While Ryu looks like a carefully balanced character in a vacuum, there are few standout elements to his game plan, and his personality is a bit thin in the “standard character” category. To address this issue, we’re making adjustments to make it easier to use his Wave Fist and adding ways for players to incorporate the Wave Halberd into their game plans.
2. Improve technology that is clearly difficult to use.
We improved techniques that were difficult to combo or unreliable as anti-air techniques.
3. Weaken elements that control your opponent’s actions too tightly.
We’re mainly focusing on techniques that are very powerful as a character’s defense. We feel there are some techniques that are low risk but high reward in both neutral and defense. So we’re nerfing technologies that control an adversary’s actions too harshly. As for Ken’s throw, although it is an offensive attack, no matter where he is in an ideal situation, it will cause too much pressure, especially for a character who does not have an invincible attack. To alleviate this, we made it slightly worse after his throw when it landed in the corner of the screen. We feel that the adjustments made in this update cover more ground than previous combat adjustments, but we hope to balance the game without making any major changes. This means some characters are unchanged at all and some are simply nerfed, but we are considering overall balance adjustments in the future that will also impact characters not touched in this update. Thank you for your patience as we work hard to make this happen. For more updates, check out the official website.

The game’s combat revolves around the drive meter, a system that encourages creativity. You can use it for five different techniques, such as parrying or focused attacks, each adding depth to your strategy. There are three control options to suit your style: classic for long-time fans, modern for simplicity, and dynamic for casual gaming.
Street Fighter 6 brings back a variety of super combos, allowing each character to unleash powerful moves related to their level. As you fight, you need to manage your meter to make the right moves at the right time. When things get heated, you can trigger key arts to change the rules of the game.
Live Commentary is a cool new feature that brings a championship atmosphere to matches with real-time analysis or optional cheers from different commentators. It’s like having your own hype team cheering you on when you’re fighting in the arena.
