Suge Knight has once again stirred controversy by suggesting that secret recordings allegedly made by Jennifer Lopez and Sean “Diddy” Combs may have played a role in her rumored split from Ben Affleck.

On a recent episode of the “Collect Call” podcast, Knight discussed the possibility that the FBI seized recordings that may feature Lopez from Diddy’s properties that federal agents raided earlier this year as part of a sex trafficking investigation.

The claim has not been confirmed. Authorities have not released the contents of electronic devices that ABC News said were seized from the rapper’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami in March.
In 1999, Lopez was dating Combs when they were arrested and charged with a shooting in Manhattan. The charges against her were dropped, while the hip-hop mogul was later acquitted after a trial.
Knight claimed on his podcast that the FBI may have contacted Affleck and provided him with tapes allegedly of Lopez and Combs, leading to his strained marriage to the singer-actress.
“I’m pretty sure they [FBI] “I think the FBI paid a courtesy call to Ben Affleck, a white man who is respected by the white world. I’m pretty sure they said, ‘We want to tell you something about your wife.’”
Knight went on to speculate that the “Gone Girl” actor’s opinion of the “Jenny From the Block” singer may have changed significantly after hearing and viewing the alleged recordings.

“When [Affleck saw] “The shit that she and Puff did and who they did it to, I’m pretty sure they showed him those tapes and I’m pretty sure he’ll never be able to look at her the same again,” the convicted felon claimed.
“I’m pretty sure they got divorced because he’s a man with a good life. Great parents who don’t spend a lot of money. Not for the paparazzi to find out, he’s living his life. He has his own team. She brought all that shit out and now the motherfucker wants out,” Knight alleged.

Lopez and Diddy met by chance in 1999 while working on her music video for “If You Had My Love” and quickly began dating.
Their relationship ended in 2001 following allegations of infidelity by the rapper.
Lopez continued dating Affleck, to whom she was engaged until 2004. The couple rekindled their romance nearly two decades later and officially tied the knot in 2022.
However, Lopez and Affleck have been the subject of split rumors in recent months after the two began living apart and ditched their wedding rings. They have not commented on the rumors.

Despite Knight’s claims, an unnamed insider recently told the Daily Mail that there’s another reason why Affleck and Lopez are reportedly headed for divorce. According to the source, he’s reportedly prioritizing his health over his relationship with the “Hustlers” star.
The “Argo” actor was reportedly upset and unwell when he learned his wife was launching a liquor brand. The move was seen as a slap in the face following Affleck’s struggles with sobriety, which he has struggled to maintain through multiple stints in rehab.
“Ben has been fighting to get his life back together after getting sober,” the source said. “Knowing that she had lost everything, including the love of her family, knowing that she could relapse, Jen decided to open her own spritzer line to make some extra money, as if she didn’t have enough money.”
“That’s one of those things that makes things worse. But Ben has kept his sanity,” the insider added.
