Why was Early Access suspended?
Players who chose the Deluxe Edition, which offers 72 hours of early access, encountered an error when logging in. The bug prematurely marked all save files as fully complete, prompting Rocksteady Studios to shut down the servers and address the issue through maintenance.
Developer responses and fixes
Rocksteady Studios acknowledged the bug and assured players they were working on a fix. The studio discovered an issue affecting player profiles and is currently testing a solution. After the fix is implemented, the game servers are expected to come back online, but the exact timing is still uncertain.
Offline mode issues
Suicide Squad’s lack of an offline mode adds to player frustration. While there are plans to roll out offline mode after launch, a release date for the feature has not yet been confirmed.

Is Suicide Squad off the air?
For players looking forward to early access to the Deluxe Edition of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League ($99.99), disappointment ensued. The 72-hour early access, scheduled to begin on January 30, started with a big mistake. Users in Australia and New Zealand who accessed the game before anyone else found that their save files were incorrectly marked as fully complete when logging into the server. In response, Rocksteady Studios immediately shut down the servers for maintenance to address the issue, the extent of which will impact other Early Access players is uncertain. The incident stemmed from previous concerns, including a lack of censorship codes for media outlets. The full game is still scheduled to be released on February 2nd.
