Suicide Squad kills the Justice League patch notes

In the latest patch for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, released on February 14, 2024, developer Rocksteady addressed an XP bug related to vehicle kills during the Gizmo Support Squad mission, no longer granting XP. The update also fixes a few bugs, such as a burning damage scaling bug and a Toyman gear enhancement bug.

BUG FIXED:

  • Fixed a bug that caused burn damage to scale with player damage buffs and enemy debuffs. Burning damage is only scaled by enemy debuffs.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed Toyman to stack multiple identical enhancements on your gear.
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes resulted in modifications to enhancements on gear not being saved after exiting a multiplayer session and joining a single-player session.

Changes in this version:

  • Heatwave’s Molten Hide and Turtle Shell damage reduction reduced from 100% to 90%.
  • Killing vehicles in Gizmo’s Support Squad mission no longer awards XP due to some players taking advantage of certain mission mechanics. You still receive XP for completing tasks.
  • By fixing burn damage, players will be less likely to reach the same mastery levels as before. So, to be fair, we’re going to create a new leaderboard. Don’t worry, though, because we’ll be archiving the existing leaderboards, so whoever’s currently at the top will continue to be infamous!
  • Along with the fix for burning damage scaling and hearing concerns about hitting the wall when climbing mastery levels, we’ve reduced enemy health scaling at mastery level 46 and above.
  • To keep things challenging, enemies at mastery level 46 and above now deal more damage.

Additionally, a bug where Toyman would stack multiple identical enhancements on his equipment has been fixed. Another bug that sometimes prevented gear enhancement modifications from being saved after switching between multiplayer and single-player sessions has been addressed.

In terms of changes, the damage reduction of Heatwave’s Molten Hide and Turtle Shell has been reduced from 100% to 90%. Due to players taking advantage of certain mission mechanics, killing vehicles during Gizmo’s Support Squad mission no longer awards XP, but XP will still be awarded upon completion of the mission. To address concerns about hitting a wall when climbing mastery levels, fixes to burn damage scaling may reduce the likelihood that players will reach the same mastery level as before.

To maintain fairness, new leaderboards will be created and existing leaderboards archived. Additionally, to balance the challenge of the game, the health scaling of enemies at Mastery Level 46 and above has been reduced. However, enemies with higher mastery levels now deal more damage to keep the game appropriately challenging.
