Suicide Squad Kills Justice League
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action-shooter video game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. As a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series and a sequel to Batman: Arkham Knight (2015), the game delves into the narrative of the DC Comics Suicide Squad. Players control four super-villains – Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn and King Shark – recruited by Amanda Waller to stop the alien invader Brainiac in Metropolis. The mission involves freeing the Justice League members from Brainiac’s control. With an open-world design, players can explore Metropolis alone or in co-op mode.
The game was originally announced in August 2020 and has since undergone several delays, but is now set to release on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on February 2, 2024. Deluxe Edition owners will get early access on January 29, 2024. Kevin Conroy, the famous voice actor of Batman, gave his final performance in the game, marking an important moment after his death on November 10, 2022.
Suicide Squad Kills Justice League Servers
The early access release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was troubled by a bug that caused players’ games to automatically finish, forcing Rocksteady Studios to take its servers offline within an hour. Early access was given to those who paid an extra $30 for the Deluxe Edition, which allowed them to start playing the game on January 30, three days before the official release, in Australia and New Zealand.
Unfortunately, the game immediately experienced an error that marked all save files as completed, prompting Rocksteady Studios to shut down the game’s servers. The studio acknowledged the issue and assured players that they were working on a fix, and performed maintenance on the servers to resolve the issue affecting player profiles. The game was offline for several hours while they tested and implemented a solution.

Suicide Squad Kills Justice League Game
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an open-world action-adventure game set in Metropolis. There are four characters in the game for you to play: Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark. While it offers a single-player experience, there is also a cooperative multiplayer mode that supports up to four players. In the single-player game, you can switch between characters freely, while the other characters are controlled by artificial intelligence.
Each character has two weapon classes, with some weapon classes shared by multiple characters. They also display unique melee styles and unique moves. For example, Harley wields a baseball bat and uses Batman’s grappling gun for movement. The game features a skill tree progression design, allowing players to try different builds at any time by assigning skills. After release, “seasons” of free content updates are expected, introducing new locations and playable characters.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League tells the story of Arkham Asylum inmates – Deadshot, Boomerang, Harley Quinn and King Shark – who are freed by Amanda Waller to join Task Force X. They are sent to Metropolis with bombs in their heads under attack by Brainiac. Brainwashed heroes, including Green Lantern and Batman, attack them.
Wonder Woman refuses Waller’s orders and leaves. The team, forced recruits, and anti-Justice League technology face a challenge. After escaping to Earth-2, they learn of the threat of Brainiac. Upon returning, Luthor-2 warns Waller of his plans. The team confronts Green Lantern, disarms the shield, and confronts Brainiac. A conflict ensues between Superman and Wonder Woman.
Batman’s capture leads to the appearance of Gold Kryptonite. Harley executes Batman, but Brainiac captures the team. Rescued by Luthor-2, they discover Brainiac’s multiverse conspiracy. They are transported, defeat Brainiac, save Earth-1, and prepare to hunt down other Brainiacs across the universes.
