early life
T-Classic was born in Agege, Lagos on November 10, 1998, but his ancestral home is in Ekiti State. He is the first of five children in the Ajayi family.
His father was a strict disciplinarian and his mother was a minister.
Before he took up music, the young artist loved dancing. It was his dancing that led him to get into songwriting.

T-Classic attended Legacy Nursery and Primary School before moving on to Royal Camp Comprehensive High School, Agege, Lagos, from which he graduated in 2013.
He claimed that the principal encouraged creativity through drama, music and even stand-up comedy every Friday, hence calling the Royal Camp a “music school”.
Profession
After graduation, he signed with Bang Music Entertainment and his career began. His father was very strict and wanted him to continue his education instead of pursuing a career in music, but with the intervention of his mother, he got his wish.
In 2017, he signed with Mixnaija Entertainment, where he produced the lead single “I Want You”.
In August 2019, he released the most popular song of his career, “Nobody Fine Pass You”, which won the Most Popular Song of the Year Award and was nominated for the Most Promising Performance of the Year Award at the City People Music Awards.
T-Classic joined the roster of artists on 7 February 2020 on Sony Music West Africa label.
On February 23, he released his debut EP, Underrated, which features DJ Xclusive.
T-Classic’s first song was Fall in Love, which Mayorkun participated in. People began to know him as T-Classic.
