Talos Principle 2 Reconnection Guide, How to Solve The Fundamental Connections Puzzle?

Talos Principle 2 Reconnection Guide

In Talos Principle 2, reconnection puzzles are more challenging than previous puzzles such as RGB Shift. It requires using two RGB converters simultaneously to solve this problem. If you’ve completed the first prairie ring puzzle before trying to reconnect, it can help you understand the basics.

The first step is to release the RGB converters trapped behind the energy gate. You can do this by using an available RGB converter and selecting a green and blue light generator, which will turn the converter red. Then, select the red light receiver and red converter and the door will open. Place the newly released converter outside the energy gate, roughly in line with the red light receiver.

Now, things get a little trickier. The red light needed for the final energy gate couldn’t be created using just an RGB converter because it was hidden behind a long wall. All you need to do is turn the original converter into a light generator. To do this, go back to the original RGB converter, select the blue and red light generators to create green, and then select the recently released RGB converter. Finally, select the recently released RGB converter and the “Stay Connected” option, then select the Blue Light Generator. This will turn the RBG converter red, allowing you to select a second red receiver. The door will open and you can complete the level.

How to solve basic connectivity challenges?

To solve basic connection challenges in Talos Principle 2, follow the steps below.

  • When you enter the “Basic Connections” puzzle room, you’ll see a connector that connects a generator to a receiver. This connector is important because it keeps the energy wall open, which is what you need.
  • Don’t touch the connector yet. The connector can interface with other connectors as well as colored light generators and receivers. This is how you solve this puzzle.
  • If a receiver is connected to a generator of the same color, it will open or unlock something, such as an energy wall. You want to keep the energy wall open, so don’t disconnect the first connector.
  • Pass through the wall of energy opened by the receiver. Inside, you’ll find another connector. Grab it.
  • Connect this new connector to the generator near the entrance to the puzzle room.
  • Place this connector near the channel on the left side of the chamber. This is an important step.
  • Now, go back to the beginning of the puzzle and grab the first connector you haven’t touched before.
  • Go through the passage to the back of the room and you’ll find a second receiver on the wall.
  • Use the connector you just picked up to connect this receiver to the receiver you placed earlier.
  • By doing this, you’ll open the energy wall next to the second receiver, giving you access to one of the first sigils needed to open the red door and complete the game’s intro.
