Tamer Hosny Sherif Abbas Farghaly was born on August 16, 1977 in Cairo, Egypt. He was the son of Hosni Sharif Abbas and Fatma Sabagh. His father was Egyptian and his mother was of Syrian descent and spent most of his life in Egypt.
He has a brother named Hossam Hosny, an Egyptian producer and actor. Tamer graduated from Sixth of October University with a bachelor’s degree in media studies. He is an Egyptian and a Muslim.
