Julie Ellen “Tawny” Kitaen (born August 5, 1961) is a famous American actress, model, comedian, and media personality. She is known for appearing in music videos for several glam rock bands, including “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love” by Whitesnake.
At age 14, she attended her first rock show at the Balboa Stadium, where she saw Peter Frampton. She modeled for television commercials for Jack LaLane’s European Health Spas in the early 1980s before launching her acting career with a small role in the television movie Malibu in 1983. She starred in the second season of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab, which premiered in October 2008.

Early life and education
Tawny Kitaen was born in San Diego, California on August 5, 1961. Kitaen nicknamed herself “Toni” when she was 12 years old.
Her parents are Terry Kitaine (father) and Linda Taylor (mother).
Toni Kitan struggled in school due to her dyslexia and eventually dropped out of Mission Bay High School in San Diego. She supplemented her income by modeling and acting in regular roles.

Toni Kitan died on Friday, May 7, 2021, at her residence in Newport Beach, California. She was 59. Her death was confirmed to The New York Times by her daughter, Winter Finley, who told The New York Times that her death has not yet been made public.
On the morning of May 8, Finley’s children, Winter Finley and Ryan Finley, released a statement on their mother’s Instagram, which read: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother. We miss her, love her, and know her legacy will live on forever.”
In 2002, Tawny Kitaen made headlines for a personal argument with her spouse, during which she allegedly physically assaulted Chuck Finley, and she was subsequently taken into custody on two misdemeanor spousal abuse charges.
Three days after the incident, Chuck Finley filed for divorce. In September of that year, Toni Kitan settled the legal dispute. After a year of counseling, the charges against her were dropped.
In 2006, Tawny Kitaen tried to revive her career by participating in a reality TV show. She joined the cast of The Surreal Life in its sixth season.
