Taylor Hall began his professional career after being drafted as a first-team player by the Edmonton Oilers in 2010. His deal included a base salary of $900,000 and performance bonuses of $2.85 million, making it one of the highest-paid starter contracts in Oilers history.
Hall achieved his first Gordie Howe hat trick in 2011, scoring a goal, assisting on another, and fighting Derek Dorsett.
