In the second half, Kelce made a remarkable reception on the field of play. When the camera turned to Swift, Aikman’s comments stirred up some drama on social media.
According to Fox News, Aikman said, “She likes it,” but his fellow analyst Joe Buck corrected him: “You know they’re not married?”
“Oh I know,” Aikman admitted, with some trepidation, adding, “I’m sure I’d get in trouble for saying that.”
In response, Buck stepped in to minimize the fallout by sharing a personal anecdote about his daughters advising him not to make any references to Swift during Chiefs games.
Despite this preemptive measure, Aikman still faced criticism from Swift’s die-hard fans on X.

Last season, Tony Romo made the mistake of calling Swift “wife” on two separate occasions.
In early December, there was a moment when Romo mentioned during a game with Kelce that “Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, was in the stands.”
A few weeks later, he made another mistake when he said: “And his wife likes it… I mean girlfriend.”
