Taylor Swift fans were shocked and disappointed when they saw the singer’s wax statue newly unveiled and displayed at the Panoptikum Museum in Germany.

The newly unveiled statue does not capture the essence of the 14-time Grammy-winning artist, known for his blonde hair and flamboyant wardrobe.

Fans wasted no time in expressing their disappointment and anger towards the museum and the artist behind the piece.
Created over seven months with meticulous attention to detail by Berlin artist Lisa Büscher, the artwork features a wax figure of Swift dressed in a sparkling blue and pink outfit and stylish knee-high boots.
The statue features long blonde hair with bangs and is posed in imitation of Swift’s signature “heart-shaped hands” gesture.
“Achieving perfect resemblance is especially difficult when it comes to flawless, wrinkle-free beauty,” Büscher said, according to the Daily Mail.
“A particular challenge was designing her hands in the typical heart pose,” she added. “Coordinating the two hands to meet in front was not easy.”

“The same goes for painting the head. After all, a wax figure shouldn’t look ‘waxy’.”
Despite the artist’s sincere effort in portraying Swift’s image, critical social media users were not satisfied with the final result.

Swift’s loyal fans shared their opinions on X.
X user @hantayofficial said, “It’s really creepy. They always make her so dirty with these things.”
The “Lover” singer often greets her audience at crowded shows by forming a heart shape with her fingers. However, instead of using all of her fingers, the character’s prosthetic hand is positioned with only her thumb and index finger forming a heart symbol, while the rest of her hand is prominently pointed upwards.
@quitewhisper added, “She doesn’t finger herself like that.”
@bluemax_x asked, “Why does she look 50?” while @Crestials said, “I mean, give her a few more years and it’ll be true!”
In contrast to Swift’s actual appearance at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the wax figure is identically dressed but has distinct variations in facial structure.
Notably, the statue has a longer, narrower nose and face, different from the singer’s natural features.
@TripleAndyGames joked, “Is her face created by temu or by wish?”
