Taylor Swift’s Vienna reboot? Additional performances, music video filming reportedly in discussion

Taylor Swift has reportedly come up with a thoughtful strategy to express her gratitude to her disappointed fans following the unfortunate circumstances that led to the cancellation of her concert in Vienna, Austria earlier this month.

An unnamed source told The US Sun that the 14-time Grammy winner is keen to find ways to make up for the loyal Swifties who missed out on seeing “The Eras Tour” in Vienna, including scheduling new shows or filming a music video in the Austrian capital.

Swift was scheduled to perform for fans in Vienna for three nights last week but was forced to cancel the shows after Austrian authorities uncovered a terrorist plot targeting her concerts.

The suspects were reportedly recruited to work at the event and were found in possession of knives, machetes and materials to make dirty bombs. One suspect, a man identified as Beran A., is said to have confessed to a dark plot that involved driving a car into fans outside the Ernst Happel Stadium, followed by a violent attack with knives and explosive devices with the help of two minors.

Since the cancellation, the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker has been in discussions with her team to come up with alternative plans to compensate fans for the missed opportunity, according to the report. People familiar with the plans stressed to the outlet that the proposals are still in the early stages.

Options Swift and her team have explored are said to include filming her next music video in Vienna and adding “Eras Tour” dates to the city in 2025.

Swift is also reportedly considering two more shows following her final North American show, which is scheduled for November 3 in Indianapolis.

These new dates could start in the afternoon in the United States and be broadcast live to audiences in Vienna, around 9 p.m.

“All ideas are being considered,” the source told the outlet. “There have been many discussions and they are ongoing.”

Swift is then expected to return home to reunite with boyfriend Travis Kelce, who is preparing for the upcoming NFL season. She is reportedly planning to attend “four or five” Chiefs games.

Despite her stated intentions, Swift’s primary motivation was to express gratitude for her fans’ support and combat the threat from ISIS.

“Taylor and the crew were devastated by what happened last week, and it made perfect sense to cancel the show in Vienna,” the insider explained.

“But there’s also a little disappointment. She loves her fans and never wants to let them down,” the source added.

Despite the challenges she faced in Austria, Swift is eager to embark on her final European tour in London. This week, she will perform a total of four shows at Wembley Stadium, which can hold up to 90,000 fans.
